Copper Mountain
Colorado

DATES: October 22 - 28, 2023

$500 Deposit to reserve your spot. Maximum 20 participants.

Copper Mountain opens in October on natural and manmade snow to accommodate the U.S. Ski Team, National PSIA Demo Team, and a variety of race camps.  GTI Sports annually conducts a week-long camp during this early season.  With intense and focused race training, participants get a jump-start for the season.

Training.

Typically, we train for two sessions on the hill with a break for lunch and early videotape analysis.  After the day's skiing, we get together in small groups for video analysis.  Session start times and number of sessions per day may vary depending on the group's energy level.

Dryland.

During your stay at camp, you will have use of the Copper Mountain Athletic Club.  The club offers a swimming pool, hot tubs, cardio room, weight training room, locker rooms, towels, and even massage services (for add'l price).

Breakfast is served daily at Jack's Cafeteria.

Lunch.  We recommend you purchase items for lunch as we normally have lunch on the hill.  Although a lodge with restrooms is available for use, food and beverage service is not offered.

Dinner.  Participants are on their own for dinner.  If you are traveling alone, there's plenty of participants to meet and join for dinner.  Don't be shy!

Nearby Services.  Frisco is a short drive from Copper Mountain where there are grocery stores, shopping and restaurants.  Breckenridge is also not far away with many restaurants.  Because the camp is held during the "shoulder season," be sure to check restaurant opening/closures (especially in Breckenridge) in advance.  Some stores at Copper Mountain are open.

Price includes:  Slopeside Condominium Lodging, lift tickets, breakfast, coaching, videotaping & analysis, and use of the athletic club facilities.

Getting There.  Copper Mountain is located on I-70, west of Denver and is not far past the Eisenhower Tunnel.  Some participants fly into Denver and rent a car or take a shuttle.  Others drive from their home (e.g. Oregon, California, Utah).  Let us know your travels plans and sometimes we can connect travelers to help share car rentals, shuttle services and carpooling.
